Introduction to Bellydance

This class offers you an introduction to the music and movements of belly dance. No experience necessary! Curious but not convinced? Come try a class for the first time!

Orientale

Level One Technique 

This class is the best place to start if you are interested in following the journey that is known in the Middle East as Raks Sharki or “Orientale” belly dance. This class focuses on technique only, no choreography. You will be introduced to basic middle eastern rhythms and how the movements relate.

Level Two Technique

This class is for students wanting to further expand their knowledge and repertoire of the music and movements of Raks Sharki. This class focuses on technique only, no choreography. You will be introduced to more advanced middle eastern rhythms and well as learning to play finger cymbals.

Level Two Choreography

This class is designed for students wanting to take a step further and learn a complete routine. Each term, a brand new choreography is taught ranging in styles from Classical, Folk, Drum Solo, to Modern Orientale. Contact us to find out what’s in the works!

Level Three Choreography

This class is designed for advanced students only. Attendance of a level two class in conjunction is mandatory due to the fitness level and movement repertoire required. Each term, a brand new choreography is taught, with emphasis on musical interpretation, texture and layering, advanced choreography, stage and presentation.

 Sacred Centre Fusion

 Level One Technique

This class is the best place to start if you are interested in training in Nath Keo’s original Sacred Centre Fusion Dance. This dance style combined foundation elements from belly dance, and cambodian classical dance & martial arts. This class focuses on technique only, no choreography will be taught.

Level Two Technique

This class is for students wanting to expand their training in the Sacred Centre Fusion style. This class focuses on technique only, no choreography will be taught.

Level Two Choreography

This class is designed for students who are wanting to take a step further and learn a complete routine. Each term, a brand new choreography will be taught.

the Sacred Centre Method

The “Sacred Centre Method” was inspired by Nath keo’s extensive training in Middle Eastern Dance, Cambodian Cultural and Marital Arts and Theravada Buddhist practices and philosophy. Focus is on balance, grace, and form through body alignment and awareness. Comparable to yoga/tai chi/stretch and strengthen class. No experience necessary! This program is designed for all fitness levels.

Shimmy & Sweat

This class is designed for participants seeking a cardio and strength training workout. No experience necessary! This program is designed for everyone and anyone, with variations on exercises and drills to suit each fitness level.

Bellyfit

Bellyfit is the myth bustin, spirit soothing, bootie shaking workout designed by women, for women ~ and the movement is growing.

It’s about LOVING YOUR BODY, honouring your body, nurturing your body and moving your body…in a way that inspires you, empowers you and makes you remember what an amazing, strong, beautiful woman you are…RIGHT NOW!
